Scope and Contents

Typed agreement, written in blue ink, between the Union Hall Association and Hallie Q. Brown Community House. An excerpt from the document reads as follows:

Withesseth, that whereas the above named party of the first part did on this day agree to sell to the party of the second part, for the sum of six thousand and one dollars a certain building and two lots known as "Union Hall" located at 553 Aurora Ave., in the City of St. Paul, according to plats thereof on file in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for the County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota and situate upon lots 17 and 18, Block 3 Mackubin and Marshall's Addition in the City of St. Paul.
