Scope and Contents

Hallie Q. Brown Community Center with support from the Martin Luther King Parks and Recreation Dept.
For any child who wants a home cooked meal when parents are working over the after school and supper hours.
The children set tables, help prepare meals, serve food, and clean up afterwards. The meal is served family style with community volunteers setting a tone tone of encouragement and cooperative. Everyone shares food and conversation.
Activities are also part of the program from Arts Projects to Playing basketball.
Kick-off for the Kids Cafe is November 21, 2000 from 4 to 6 P.M.
