Biographical / Historical
Hi there. If you are reading this, you are likely a researcher or someone with a very keen eye and desire to seek out knowledge. My name is Kayla and I am the archivist who is solely responsible for implementing HQB's instance of ArchivesSpace and our connecting digial media library. RIT is my alma mater. Thank you so much for using our finding aid and please excuse any errata you may find in the depths of the findings aids here. Memory work is an iterative process and requires the work of many, over time, to create a hollistic understanding of the past. Still, I am very proud of the work I have done and honored to be a Black woman tasked with organizing the rich histories of other Black people. It is my hope that I can continue to serve people in this way for years to come. [Dated 2022].
