Six African-American Women who have played a leadership role in their community over the years will be honored today at the Limited Thirty/Black Women's Network Luncheon. This awards luncheon seeks to recognize the contributions of women who have made a difference to their families and others in improving the quality of life for African-Americans.

The women nominated for the 1992 year were: Billie Carter, Elizabeth Dawan, O'Delle Galloway, Lavinia Murray, Vashti Ransom, and Orean Rawlings.
