Scope and Contents
A 36 page proposal for locating The Metropolitan Council in Downtown Minneapolis. Submitted jointly by the Minneapolis City Council, The Hennepin County Board, The Downtown Council, The Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce, and The Building and Construction Trades Council.
This document was originally contained in a metal binder. The binder was rusted and contained dirt. The proposal was removed from the binder. The binder was labelled "Mrs. J.L. Taylor", otherwise known as Janabelle Murphy Taylor.

From the Collection: 27.93 Linear Feet (29 containers) : The collection is contained within 15 letter-size document boxes; 2 clamshell boxes,;14 flat file folders of various, custom sizes; and one Rollicord camera in a brown leather case. The collection contains mostly photographic materials, with some other graphic materials such as pamphlets, newspaper clippings, and written correspondence.
