Biographical / Historical
In December of 1906, the Adelphia Club hosted Hallie Q. Brown at their club residence (see the newspaper, The Appeal. Pub. December 22, 1906). In Feb. of 1919, the Adelphia Club with Mrs. Ida Johnson, Janabelle's mother, at 863 Woodbridge St [The Appeal. Pub. Date Feb. 15, 1919].

From the Collection: 27.93 Linear Feet (29 containers) : The collection is contained within 15 letter-size document boxes; 2 clamshell boxes,;14 flat file folders of various, custom sizes; and one Rollicord camera in a brown leather case. The collection contains mostly photographic materials, with some other graphic materials such as pamphlets, newspaper clippings, and written correspondence.
