Biographical / Historical
John H. Hickman Sr. was an auditor for the corporation of Finch, Van Slyck, and McConville for 50 years. More information about him can be found by reading the following publication: THe Northwestern bulletin-appeal. Pub. Date APril 26, 1924. His son, John H. Hickman Jr., was a law attorney in St. Paul during the early 1900s. Notably, J.H. Hickman and Miss Evelyne Hickman, were patrons of St. Paul's Pilgrim Baptist Church at the same time as members of the Murphy-Taylor family.
