The following is an excerpt from the inside of the program:

A Glance at the A.F.M. Club. Organized in 1945 under the Administration of Dr. Floyd Massey Jr., by Mrs. Evelyn Kelly Robinson, as the Young Women's Club, The club was renamed in 1954 when the members felt "Young Women" was not appropriate as a name for the ladies at their ages. Thereby the name "Alpha Floyd Massey Club was chosen because this was the First Club organized under Dr. Massey's administration.

Collection primarily contains the following: Three Bibles (c.1883-1940), two meeting minutes books (c. 1910), photographs in black and white as well as color (various dates). As well as handwritten and typed correspondence and personal admin. files. ) : Two letter-size, black, hollinger boxes and two, cream-colored clamshell boxes.
