Newspaper article slipping reads as follows:
[...] 3-year-old Dean [...] he fell on the back of his head--but worse, that it took off the face of his favorite alarm clock. The hardy son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Schliek, 716 Aurora avenue, unhooked a screen Friday night and leaned out the window to watch an uncle repair his roadster. Leaning [...] fell head-first to the ground. All through [...] forced landing he clutched his pet timepiece, only to have it suffer severe facial and internal injuries. Dean was more durable. He was back at play today.

Scrapbook has been unbound and the majority of the pictures and papers glued to its pages have been separated, leaving only handwritten annotations to suggest what was once on each page. Few materials, including photographs, remain on the pages they were originally adhered to. ; varied.
