Scope and Contents
Typed report by HQB Camp Director, Mildred Brunson. The one week day camp was attended by approx. 25 children. An excerpt reads as follows:
The goal for the Tweeners Program was: To motivate student interest in health, education, nature, animal and plant life, individual development, educational adventures, vegetation, social skills and counseling.
[...] Listed below are places visited and forms of activities: Science Museum's touch and see room; University of Minnesota animal farm; Como Park Zoo and Conservatory; Minnesota Falls; Theatre ensemble; Northwest Airlines tour; Children's Museum; Camp Wilder; Pike Island Nature Center at Fort Snelling; Lexington and Central branch libraries; Como Harriet Streetcar Ride; and M.I.B.C.A. Safety Workshop.
