Abstract

This collection includes photographs of the various staff, clubs, regular program activities and visitors associated with Hallie Q. Brown Community Center. While a large portion of photographs were taken at the Center, this collection also includes photographs of associates of Hallie Q. Brown Community Center located at places such as parks, at lakes, or on farms. This collection is in progress.

Abstract This collection includes the personal works and objects of John Wesley Kelly, Guinevere (Gwen) Kelly-Twiggs, Evelyn Kelly-Robinson, and John Twiggs. John, Gwen and Evelyn were heavily involved in church clubs and organizations relating to various churches in Saint Paul and in Seattle. Janabelle was a progam director at Hallie Q. Brown Community Center for 20 years, as well as being a community activist throughout the Twin Cities.
