Scope Note: Between 1859-1869, Joseph Rondeau sold his property, marked as the "Rondo Addition" on plat maps. Joseph Rondeau died in Saint Paul at 88 years old in 1895. The Rondo Addition would later go on to be the neighborhood for majority black or African American residents, before being destroyed to build interstate 94.
