Abstract This collection includes the professional and personal photographic works of H. Janabelle Murphy Taylor, commonly known as Janabelle or Jane, and her family members. Janabelle was a progam director at Hallie Q. Brown Community Center for 20 years, as well as being a community activist throughout the Twin Cities. Scope and Contents

The album contains mostly pictures of Janabelle and friends on a trip to beaches in New Jersey. There are also pictures of a wedding and of a military sailor in dress uniform. This album also contains a photo of the West Side Community Center, located at 115 Dewitt in Ashbury Park, New Jersey.
